Pirate Alert
As we approach the Suez Canal we have been on Pirate Alert and in lockdown after sunset. All external decks are in darkness and out of bounds. No one is allowed out on their balcony and all curtains must be fully closed after dark with minimal lights in cabin.
Interestingly our first night in the Med our pirate Alert will still be in place which is most unusual. We have had our pirate drill and if anything happens we will be directed by our cabin steward to proceed to the internal passage ways.
Thankfully no issues to date that we are away of.....
